What is Body Engineering: RedBird Body Engineering is a unique toning program that sculpts the body. BE adds definition to arms, flattens abs, pulls skin tight, lifts the butt, and shapes the thighs for a long, lean, high & tight look. Inspired by great body sculptors of the past, like Jane Fonda and Lotte Berk, as well as the present, like Tracy Anderson, the RedBird Body Engineering program builds on these evidence-based toning principles and weaves them into fullbody movements that fit within the RedBird methodology of balanced muscular development and science-based training.
 
BE exercises follow the proprietary RB track system, which is designed and programmed in a specific way to work the spine through all planes of motion. This creates optimal body alignment and ensures no particular muscle group is overdeveloped.  In BE, the hip and shoulder joint are also worked through all ranges of motion to create  supple strength of the musculature surrounding these joints, as well as provide a full body workout that gets remarkable results – especially in sculpting the arms, waist, butt and thighs.
 
Who is it for: Anyone who wants to tone and shape their body, create strength without bulk, and enhance joint pliability without hypermobility.  This is an intelligent, fierce workout that provides a robust education and requires mindful precision movement. Clients should expect to stay present in their body and work hard – but also be ready for amazing results.
 
Why it works: Using proven toning principles – such as high repetition, light-weight, long-lever movements, Body Engineering focuses on the smaller muscles that are not often accessed in traditional strength training or everyday life. These muscles include the deep internal and external rotators of the hip and shoulder, the transversus abdominus, and the deep spinal extensors. These muscles are not only crucial for supporting and protecting the joints and spine, but also help create a defined, toned physique by lifting the glutes, pulling the skin tight to the musculature of the arms, legs, and stomach, adding striations to shoulders, and creating strength without bulk.
 
Why it is unique: The movements are all personally designed by RedBird master teachers and owners, Lee Vallely and Elisabeth Kristof, who use their combined 35-years of experience in re-shaping bodies and years of research creating the RedBird method to construct safe, challenging, and effective movement sequences. These sequences are then taught in-depth to all RedBird teachers who carry them out in a deliberate and effective manner. Sequences change monthly to allow mastery of the curriculum without plateaus or boredom. The RedBird BE program combines precision-based movement with athletic intensity to produce transformative results.
